A straightforward single-window replacement — standard size, no structural complications — takes an experienced installer 30 to 60 minutes from start to finish. That includes removing the old window, preparing the opening, setting the new unit, shimming and leveling, insulating, and finishing the interior and exterior trim. If you're replacing one failed or damaged window, you can expect the crew to be in and out in under an hour.
Partial Home (3–5 Windows): Half a Day
Replacing 3 to 5 windows in a single visit typically takes 3 to 5 hours — a comfortable half-day job. This is a common scenario for homeowners who want to address the worst-performing windows first before doing a full replacement later, or who are replacing windows in a specific area of the home (a bedroom wing, for example).
Full Home (10–15 Windows): 1–2 Days
